上座の上には、白いボードが取り付けてあった。
卒業した小学校名と卒業年を表す二桁の数字の大きさが
気恥ずかしいほどだ。

指名されて立ち上がったボクは、
その集まりの中でひとつ、無神経に話し合われる
題材を取り上げて拙いスピーチをした。

"虐め"についてだ。

雰囲気を壊してしまったが、
共感し、慰めてくれた旧友も、いた。

ただ、それだけだ。
