はじめの図の右端が ナーン川。
ラオスとの国境の山に発して、
ナポン村チェックポイントのちょうど裏から、
国道1081が延びる谷に出る。
川は支流をあわせて幅を増しつつ北に蛇行し、
すぐにチャルンプラキット郡の山地に阻まれて、
西に急転し、
トゥンチャーン郡に出ては、南に曲がって盆地沿いに下る。

ナーン県の次の河川県は

ヨム川はナコーンサワン県チュムセン地区でナン川に合流します。
