もとは 1966年のアルバム Eli and the Thirteenth Confession に収録されたこの曲 Emmie ，実は，"Pop's first lesbian love song" と認識されていますが，日本盤CDの解説や歌詞対訳はその点について，ほとんど迫ってはいません。
本ライブCDの対訳に至っては，男性が女性を想うストーリーに置き換えられてしまっています。
ただし，Emmie は，ローラ・ニーロの結婚生活(1971-76)より以前に発表されていることを指摘しておきます。(のちに彼女は晩年まで，同性の人物を生活のパートナーとした)
