たとえば、Youtubeのチェンマイ旅動画で
カオソーイ, カオソーイと相変わらず賑やかしいが、
いまボクが北タイで必ず頼みたい料理のひとつは トム カーガイ。

これにタオフー(とうふ)が加わったのも美味しい。

トムヤム ナムトック麺 (ターワンパー)

トムヤム ナムトック バミー 50バーツ

名前からして辛そうだが、問題なく食べられた。
汁なしでなく、赤いスープは隠れている。
ラーメン食う気で中華麺を選んで正解だった。
また行きたい、かな。

ごく近いナーン川で行われるボートレース由来の店名だろう。
101号沿で、雨でもひっきりなしに車やバイクの客が来ていた。

"景色良き麺屋"はタイ語店名の訳。

ターワンバー、ワットユー前の
二階建てレストランが休業だったので、
ちゃちゃっと探して行った田舎の店。
シラーペット滝が遠からずにある。
スープは自分には甘かったものの
料理人のお母さんに自信たっぷりに「美味いか?」と訊かれれば、
頷くしかない。

口コミによく「味が濃い」だの薄いだの書くやつがいるけれど、
言われんでも、店はそのようにつくっているのだ。

タイ人の口コミはしばしば喧しい。
