高地の白いミケリアは低地では育つのが難しい。

香りの良い花の雑種は代替手段である。

これは比較的早く低地に育つ。

この見本は 6年前に植えられた。

この雑種は キンコウボクと M. montanaとの間にできた。

事務所の暗い隅の忘れられたオバケとしてよく知られている。

原産のメキシコの森では 40mにも成長する。

果実(モンテスラ)は食用になることから、

手軽に手に入れるために栽培されている。

果実は熟すと黄色になる。

みずみずしい味はバナナとパイナップルに似ている。

外側の層は痒くなる成分を含んでいる。

果実(モンテスラ)はタイではほとんど知られていない。
